Let the crew of the MV Surprise show you the canals and broad water of Surfers Paradise, Main Beach, Southport and Labrador like no-one else can by getting “UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL” with our local wildlife such as pelicans, sea eagles and dolphins followed by multi million dollar homes, boats and helicopters as we cruise on the Gold Coast.

Take a water side view of your accommodation complex or that of the Palazzo Versace. Cruise into areas like Paradise Waters, Southport Yacht club, Mariners Cove, Carters bay home of the local fishing fleet and the Marina Stadium where dragon boat races, jet ski racing and other events are periodically conducted whilst at other times frequented by boaties anchoring up in a wonderfully protected bay. We travel up along the Spit and see the entrance to the South Pacific Ocean from Australia largest inland waterway system Moreton Bay.

Tidal conditions permitting we venture over to the western side of the broad water and visit Labrador and see the designated swimming lagoon outside of Charis where pelicans are fed left overs from the fish mongers.

Continuing south we have great views of the area main business district Southport with it mixture of commercial, retail, residential, medical and trade facilities all intermingled with one another.

See the Sundale Bridge as we cruise under it however following cyclone Tracey it was under water as was most of the surrounding area. We pass along the magnificent water front property of “The Southport School” which in earlier days was the residence of the Governor of Queensland.
